From March 1 to 2, most areas of Shandong were hit by extremely bad weather such as strong cooling and heavy snowstorms, and transmission lines in many places were seriously covered with ice.

Through hydrogen-powered UAVs, State Grid Intelligence gives full play to the long-endurance and low-temperature resistance performance to carry out icing observation and special inspection of transmission line channels. The hydrogen-powered drone can operate in a low temperature environment of -20 °C, with a single flight endurance of nearly 2 hours and a channel patrol coverage of nearly 10 kilometers.

The hydrogen-powered UAV icing inspection is an important practice in the field of power grid emergency support, which further improves the emergency support capability of the power grid in the face of extreme weather, and provides valuable experience and examples for dealing with similar complex situations in the future. In this major emergency support operation, as a partner of State Grid Intelligence, the innovative technology and equipment system in which Hydrogen Aviation Technology is deeply involved has played a key role.
